Li Andong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Xi’an City of Shaanxi Province. He was born in 1946, started to work in 1965 and joined CPC in 1973. Li graduated from Department of Aviation of Harbin Military Engineering Institute in 1970 with a Bachelor Degree. General Li serves as Deputy-Director of General Armaments Department, and Director of Science and Technology Commission of General Armaments Department of the PLA since 2000. He was Member of 16th CPC Central Committee and is currently an Alternate Member of 17th CPC Central Committee.
